Grade 2

Supportive and experienced teachers work together to shape a solid foundation upon which academic and personal experiences are built. At the core of the elementary school are the relationships that develop between teachers and students both in and outside of the classroom. In addition to the required academic subject areas, students experience foreign language, drama, art, physical education, technology, media and music classes. Additionally students are involved in Special events, field trips, outdoor education trips, monthly assemblies.

Grade 9

Academic challenge, individual excellence, and personal integrity are standards of the Upper School experience. Through Advanced Placement, honors, and standard courses, high school students experience a strong curriculum designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful not only in the most challenging of college environments but also in life.

Grade 7

Springwood’s Junior High School program is designed to prepare students for the increasing responsibility of class preparation with study skills, organizational skills, and personal involvement in their own education. We support students in making the transition from childhood to teens by helping them recognize the connections between actions and consequences, effort and achievement, perseverance and accomplishment of goals.
